DIY Mummy Candleholder

Do mummies like being mummies?  Of CORPSE they do!  (Sorry, guess I’ve heard one too many dad jokes lately.)

So I don’t know about you, but I LOVE a super easy DIY project.  And this cute little candleholder craft is just that!  You might even already have some of the materials on hand at home, and this is so simple that your kiddos can even help with it.

SUPPLIES NEEDED:

DIRECTIONS:

Begin wrapping twine around Mason jar, securing the end by overlapping the twine.

Continue wrapping twine until entire jar is covered.  The messier, the better, so don’t worry about it being perfect.  Attach folded over tape (or use double sided tape) around the bottom edge of the jar to keep the twine from slipping off.

Once you have covered the entire jar, tape the end of the twine to the underneath of the jar.

Attach wiggly eyes to the twine and add tea light candle.  (I added three tea lights to give it a little more glow.)  And, believe it or not, that is it!  Seriously so easy!

Be sure to tag me if you make one of these so I can share it in my Instagram stories!  Can you believe there are only three more days until HALLOWEEN??!  Eek!!!!
