As I was pulling out all my Christmas decor bins, I came across a mason jar that I had purchased several years ago that has a little snow-covered bottle brush tree inside. I thought to myself that I could easily have DIY’d this and figured I’d give it a try. It was so easy and inexpensive that I decided to share it with all of you! It would not only make a fun addition to your holiday decorations, but it would also make a super cute little gift to give someone this season.
Insert the bottle brush tree into the jar. (TIP: To keep the tree from tipping over, I put a drop of hot glue on it before placing it into the jar.)
Sprinkle snow into the bottom of the jar.
Screw the lid back onto jar.
Wrap twine around the lid of the jar and attach jingle bell before tying a knot.
And that is it! It’s literally as easy as 1-2-3-4! You could also hot glue tiny red jingle bells to the bottle brush tree before inserting it into the jar to add a little pop of red.
These would be perfect to give as holiday gifts to your kids’ teachers. your hair stylist, your dog walker, etc. You could even attach a Starbucks or Dunkin’ D’s gift card with the jingle bell before tying the knot. Seriously, who doesn’t love a homemade gift?!
