Hostess Gifts Under $25 That Don’t Actually Suck

Since I was informed today that Christmas is only forty-two days away (GASP!!!), I figured it’s time to start rolling out some gift guides for you guys.  Before we know it, holiday party time will be in full swing, and we’ll be scrambling for the perfect hostess gifts to bring.  So I thought I’d make it easier by giving you some ideas of things to have on hand so you can just grab and go throughout this busy season.  (Shopping links down below.)

  1.  Om for the Holidays Mug:  Who doesn’t need a little “OM” in their lives, especially during the holidays?!! Pair this with some hot cocoa, and you’ve got yourself a sweet little duo!
  2. Wine Condoms:  If you have a wine lover friend who’s also got a good sense of humor, these are sure to be a hit!  They act as an airtight seal for almost any opened bottle and are fully reusable!
  3. It’s Five O’Guac Somewhere Dish Set:  Did somebody say Taco Tuesday?!  This fun little set comes with a serving bowl and a “HOLY GUACAMOLE” serving spoon.
  4. George & Viv Hand & Foot Cream:  The packaging alone on this little set is just the cutest thing ever!  Just look at that little clothespin and mitten!  Plus, everyone needs a little hand and foot pampering during the dry, winter months.
  5. Dear Hancock Penguin Cookie Set:  How cute is this spatula and cookie cutter set?!  And the price is so good that you even could pair it with the matching dish towel below!
  6. Dear Hancock Penguin Dish Towel:  This eggnog-chugging penguin is just so darling, and holiday towels are always a surefire win!
  7. Antique Candle Co “Tree Farm” Candle:  It’s hard to beat the smell of a real Christmas tree, and trust me, this candle will totally put anyone in the holiday spirit.
  8. Mistaken Lyrics Coasters:  Music fans would get a total kick out of these cork drink coasters that come as a set of four, especially if they always get the words wrong to popular songs like my hubby.  He always swore Mick Jagger was saying, “I’ll never leave your pizza burning” instead of “I’ll never be your beast of burden.
  9. Williams Sonoma Assorted Holiday Hard Candy:  What better gift to take to a party than one that can be served at the party?!  This tray of assorted candies is almost too pretty to eat (almost).
  10. Recycled Wine Bottle Platter & Spreader:  These gorgeous platters are made from recycled bottles that the artist collects from roadsides and forests near her home in Wyoming.  And the spreader is topped with an actual wine cork – so cool!
